The Dixon 1231 Series is the standard adapter for converting "straight thread" (SAE ORB) ports on modern machinery into a universal JIC outlet. This adapter uses the SAE ORB (O-Ring Boss) system on the machine-side. The seal is achieved by compressing the O-Ring against the port's chamfer, ensuring superior leak-tightness under vibration. The other end offers a Male JIC 37° cone, ready to receive any standard hydraulic hose.

Size Versatility (Jump Sizes): The table shows a wide variety of "Jump Sizes" (e.g., connecting a 1/4" hose to a 3/8" port). This allows hoses to be adapted to pumps without using multiple reducing bushings, thereby reducing leak points.
