The FS2404 is a straight male adapter that allows transition between an ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) connection and an NPTF thread. It is considered one of the most reliable connectors for eliminating leaks in high-pressure and high-vibration systems.

Design Features

• End 1 (Flat Face): Male ORFS. Features a completely flat face with a machined groove where an elastomeric seal (O-Ring) is housed.

• End 2 (Tapered Thread): Male NPTF (Dryseal).

• Sealing Mechanism: Sealing occurs when the flat face of this adapter compresses against the flat face of a hose or female connection, trapping the O-Ring. The seal is elastomeric, not mechanical.

• Material: High-strength carbon steel (standard) or 316 Stainless Steel.
