Danfoss Waltech EGESD Series Straight Connector

Danfoss Waltech® Straight Connector — EGESD Series. High-engineered component for 100% leak-free connections in high-pressure hydraulic systems, between metric steel pipes and the ports of valve blocks, cylinders, and manifolds.

Supplied as a factory-assembled integral kit, ready to install: body with pre-installed seals, metric clamping nut, and precision cutting ring (ferrule) that holds the tube and forms a permanent seal.

The structural steel body is protected with the Guardian Seal coating, offering more than 1,000 hours of resistance against red rust. Also available in stainless steel (1.4571) in selected sizes.

Available thread types:

• BSPP (European thread, DIN-ISO 228): cylindrical thread with soft elastomer gasket (WD seal) that absorbs micro-vibrations and prevents torque loss.
• NPT (American thread, ANSI/ASME B1.20.1): tapered thread that seals by mechanical metal-to-metal interference when tightened.
