The Dixon A104 is a premium hose designed for demanding industrial applications where a standard air/water hose would fail. Its main differentiator is that it is oil resistant and electrically non-conductive, which makes it ideal for safety-critical environments such as foundries, steel mills, and mining.

Construction and Materials

• Inner Tube (Liner): Made of high-quality black Nitrile (NBR). Unlike the A101R, this material allows for the passage of oils, greases, diesel, kerosene, and lubricated air without swelling or degradation.

• Reinforcement: High-tension polyester textile braiding, designed to withstand higher pressures (typically 300 PSI).

• Outer Cover: NBR/PVC blend. This combination offers the best of both worlds: the oil resistance of nitrile and the abrasion and ozone resistance of PVC.
