The Dixon A101R is a general-purpose industrial hose designed for the efficient conveyance of air and water. Construction and Materials

The engineering of the A101R hose is designed to balance flexibility and strength:

• Inner Tube (Liner): Made from a blend of NR/SBR (Natural Rubber / Styrene-Butadiene Rubber). This combination offers excellent aging resistance and superior impermeability for basic fluids.

• Reinforcement: Features a braiding of high-tenacity polyester fibers. This provides it with the ability to withstand constant working pressures without losing its shape or flexibility.

• Outer Cover: Composed of an SBR/EPDM (Styrene-Butadiene / Ethylene Propylene Diene) blend. The EPDM is key here, as it gives the hose exceptional resistance to ozone, UV rays, and weathering, preventing premature cracking from sun exposure.
