Descripción del Producto

The Complete Solution for Pump Suction The Dixon BVFS Series combines two critical functions in one robust piece:

  1. Retention (Check): Prevents the water column from draining when the pump shuts off, keeping the system "primed" and ready to start.

  2. Filtration (Strainer): Its mesh basket prevents large stones, plastics, or debris from entering the pump and damaging the impellers.

Unlike inexpensive plastic or iron foot valves that rust and stick, the BVFS Series is constructed with a Brass body and, most importantly, a Stainless Steel Strainer. This ensures a much longer service life in cisterns or wells. In addition, it uses the same spring and soft seat (NBR) mechanism as the CV series, ensuring a "Bubble Tight Seal" (zero leakage) so that the pump does not lose pressure.

Key Technical Features:

  • Stainless Steel Strainer: Superior corrosion resistance and greater durability than plastic meshes.

  • Spring-Actuated: Quick closing and immediate seating, independent of gravity.

  • Low Restriction: Designed with an optimized flow profile and an opening pressure of only 0.50 PSI, facilitating pump suction.

  • Robust Pressure:

    • Sizes 1-1/2" and 2": Withstand up to 400 PSI.

    • Sizes 3" and 4": Withstand up to 175 PSI.
