Extreme Corrosion and High-Pressure Resistance The Dixon SSBV Series represents the standard for durability in manual valves. Unlike brass or 304 stainless steel valves, this series is entirely constructed from 316 Grade Stainless Steel. This material contains molybdenum, which gives it superior resistance against chlorides, acids, alkaline solutions, and the marine environment.

In addition to its chemical strength, it is a high-performance mechanical valve. Its robust design allows it to handle working pressures of up to 1000 PSI (in sizes up to 2"), far exceeding conventional valves.

Key Technical Features:

  • 100% 316 Stainless Steel Construction: Body, ball, and stem made of investment cast 316 stainless steel, ideal for preventing fluid contamination.

  • High Pressure (1000 PSI): Rated for 1000 PSI WOG (Water, Oil, Gas) in 1/4" to 2" sizes, and 800 PSI in 2.5" to 3" sizes.

  • Extended Temperature Range: Operates from -20°F to 350°F (-29°C to 180°C), making it suitable for variable thermal processes.

  • Operational Safety: Features a blow-out proof stem and a locking handle (on some models) with a plastic cover.

  • PTFE Seals: Pure Teflon seats and packing for excellent chemical compatibility.
